The Sun is Shining

I woke up today very determined for change and a new start. Last month was a horrible and stressful month not only for writing, but life in general. Since today marks the start of the new work month, I thought I couldn't get a more perfect time than today to get back on track. I am determined and the sun is shining, so I know this month will be better than last month. I am jumping back on my productivity wagon and am going to keep the motivation flowing.

I am not really planning on bringing on any new goals this month like I normally do. I am just planning on finding a new writing system that works for me and my family due to our current changes. Motherhood has caused me to become a very scheduled and organized person and with out it I can not function. I believe this was a large aspect of my lack of productivity last month.

This month I am dropping a company that I did enjoy working for. I loved this company because they had a fast turn around rate and paid quickly. However, the amount they paid and the hassle and stress of their submission process was just not worth it. I am going to have to be making some tough work decisions over the next few months and this was the start.

On the up side, I am going to begin working for Mahalo. I have heard many people make decent money with them and really enjoy writing for them. I will give anything a try so I figure why not. It cant hurt right?

Due to the current situations in my day to day life I have to keep my stress levels decreased. This means I am going to have to work all month to keep the end of the month chaos from happening. This is a large portion of where my determination is coming from. Another large determination for me is Christmas is right around the corner, and that means I need more money!!

I hope everyone out there has a great writing month and a great month in general. As writers, I know it is very difficult, but remember take a moment to breath and enjoy life every once in a while. It really does help!
