2011 was an awesome year for me, not just with my career, but my family as well. At the start of 2011, I just knew it was going to be awesome, and it was. I now have the exact same feeling about 2012. I KNOW it's going to be an amazing year, and I can't wait to see what the year holds. One thing I've learned over the past few years, is the mentality you have throughout the year creates the positive changes you achieve. So, I'm starting the year with a big smile on my face, a positive attitude and going at it with full force.
Looking back on 2011
2011 was an amazing year in so many ways. Our family grew from 5 to 6, we moved into an awesome house, and both mine and my husband's career grew. I had some pretty big goals set for 2011. Some I accomplished, and some I didn't; however, I think it was still a very successful year, despite a few set backs. It kind of made me sad to see the year end because it was so good to me and my family, but I know 2012 holds bigger things in store for us.
Looking ahead to 2012
For 2012, I kind of adjusted the way I set my goals. Last year, I had a ton of tiny goals and a few big goals. I ended up accomplishing the big goals, but very few of the little ones. So, for 2012, I'm sticking with big goals only, and if I accomplish some little milestones in the process, I certainly won't complain. I'm so excited for this year. I look back on 2011 at all the great things that have happened, and just KNOW even better things are in store for 2012.
It's all about keeping the right attitude, even when things may not be perfect.
And, if you haven't done so already, set your goals for 2012!!
How do you feel about 2012? What do you see in store for you this year?
Happy Writing!
